Takeoff

Since I work near the airport, I sometimes take my lunch out to the end of Lagoon Drive and watch the airplanes take off and land. Seeing the humongous Japan Airlines jumbo jet rise impossibly into the clear Honolulu sky always takes my breath away. Music is "Leaving" from Timecode by MRDC (Magnatune/CC:BY-NC-SA). I too marvel at how those big things can get off the ground and soar. And how they do so with these little itty-bitty people inside... real nice video.

It is cool that you get to see all those planes all at once! It must have been really loud. There is an airport near here, I should go try to watch some planes on one of these warm summer nights!

This is great! I worked near the airport and as always when I am driving together with my son looking at all the airplanes - he is always estatic to see it arriving. He will surely love this. Thanks again for doing a wonderful job! Jon

Cool videos of planes. I should go out there one afternoon and just shoot some pictures.
