Hawaii Recycles

I take a couple of bags of bottles down to the neighborhood recycling center. The whole system could be better, could be worse. Music is "Ones" from Alchemy by Cargo Cult (Magnatune/CC:BY-NC-SA). You can download a larger version (320x240/98MB) courtesy the Internet Archive+

It seems in most places, you gotta jump through hoops to do the right "re-cycling" thing. But it's nice to get a little cash back for the effort.

I have to admit, I have been eco-unfriendly. I haven't been taking my beverage containers for recycling -- mainly because, like you mentioned, I feel that I don't have the time to waste for such a small rate of return. :p Besides that, now I don't have anywhere to store my empty cans now that we're living in a townhome. So, the question is... how long did you have to wait in line? Are they pretty efficient? How much did you end up making that day? ;)

Yes, I have heard that this can be a little troublesome. Ryan, it looks like I will be relocating to Oahu here in about a month. I have been very busy and haven't been able to upload. I think it would be exciting to meet another vlogger!
