Rae joined PBEC in late 2002 in the newly-created position of Manager of Member Services, shortly before I left in February 2003. She was extraordinarily warm and friendly, creative and crafty, but was also conscientious and acutely aware of the "big picture." She had a steep learning curve, but scaled it without missing a step.

Rae also wrote a regular column for Hawaiian Hard Drive magazine.

From her official biography:

Rae Gee is the Manager of Member Services for the for the Pacific Basin Economic Council (PBEC), and is responsible for servicing members with new programs and networking opportunities.

Ms. Gee has extensive experience with the City and County of Honolulu municipality, most recently working as Grant Administrator for the Honolulu Police Department. She worked as an Executive Assistant to the Mayor specializing in Capital Improvement Project Analysis; Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director of the City Parks and Recreation Department specializing in Community Relations; and Urban Planner for the City Department of Housing and Community Development specializing in Chinatown Redevelopment.

Ms. Gee earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Hawaii.
