Originally from Connecticut, Jennifer found herself in Honolulu when her fiancé Oliver was picked up as a temporary consultant by Bank of Hawai`i. Although she had extensive background in law, she had no immediate interest in an active practice. Why, however, she ended up joining PBEC (where I worked from October 1998 to February 2003) is a mystery that I suspect puzzles even her to this day. She was a lifesaver. Her industriousness was rivaled only by her wickedly sharp wit. I was fortunate enough to see her in July 2001 when she stopped through Honolulu on her way from Australia to her wedding in Nebraska (to the aforementioned boyfriend).
