Gas Gas Gas

Here we go again. At least it's under $3 at Costco, still. Jen's minivan
has quite an appetite! Note the vast expanse of forehead captured in the
reflection.

Lost

"LOST" filming at the Dillingham Transportation Building (737 Bishop St.). Honolulu Café and the covered courtyard play "Dina's," a coffee shop of some sort. Employees wear gold shirts with embroidered maroon aprons and caps. No stars sighted, sadly, so I don't know whose flashback it is.

company, after Hurley decided against leaving the institution.

An early Easter brunch with dad, Gayle and family at Makino Chaya in

Lost

Silly TV trivia: This is Marin Lane, between Smith and Nuuanu streets in
downtown Honolulu, which played the snowy street where Rose met Bernard in
last night's "Lost" episode, "S.O.S." A friend watched as they trucked in
the ice and filmed the short night scene three weeks ago. That's O'Toole's
on the corner, across from Murphy's.

April Fool's

After the wettest month in history, after events everywhere were cancelled
in a panic, the skies over Manoa - yes, Manoa - are bright, blue, and
frosted with light fluffy clouds. This is the best prank Mother Nature has
pulled on us in a while.
