Haleiwa
Sometimes you just want to hop in your car and drive. After hitting the end
of the road past Mokuleia and turning back, I wound up in Haleiwa. This
beautiful, carved wooden sign marks the way off the new bypass to the east
entry into historic Haleiwa town. Sadly, its counterpart on the west end
was stolen years ago.
