Haleiwa
Sometimes you just want to hop in your car and drive. After hitting the end
of the road past Mokuleia and turning back, I wound up in Haleiwa. This war
memorial at Haleiwa Beach Park commemorates those from the Waialae-Kahuku
area who gave their lives in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
