Journalize Review

Instead of a schedule or strict submission quotas, Journalize depends on the "honor system" for participation, and the occassional Journalize Review — an informal report of member stats — for motivation.

Some sample issues:

In each Journalize Review, journals awaiting crits, journalers encouraged to submit crits, and all remaining active members and their submitted-to-received crit stats are listed. In a hopefully not-too-authoritarian way, Journalize Review brings some order to receiving and submitting crits.

Receiving Crits: Journals which have not received any crits to date are listed first, in the order in which they were submitted, giving them the highest priority. Then, preference is given to journalers who have the highest submitted-to-received ratio, then in the order in which they became active on the list.

Submitting Crits: In the "Journalers Encouraged to Submit Crits" list, journalers are listed by their received-to-submitted ratio ("crit debt"), then in the order in which they became active on the list.
